This book contains proven steps and strategies on how to be a vegetarian without the risk of reverting back to an omnivorous lifestyle. Included in this book are detailed information on the advantage of living off to a vegetarian lifestyle and the dangers of consuming meat products. There are also steps on how to shift into being a vegetarian from being an omnivore. A guide on meal planning and a list of vegetarian recipes are also included in this book to guide and help a new vegetarian with the transition.

What do Sir Isaac Newton, Leonardo Da Vinci, Thomas Edison and Albert Einstein have in common? Well, they are all prominent geniuses, had world-changing contributions, and are surprisingly-vegetarians.

A study published in the British Medical Journal involving 8,000 participants revealed that children with an above-average intelligence quotient (IQ) are more likely to grow up as vegetarians than those who have average or below average IQs. Furthermore, the average IQ of vegetarian children is higher by 5 (at 105) compared to non-vegetarians (at 100).

Higher IQ, longevity, freedom from most illnesses, and a great sense of well-being are only some of the many benefits of living on a plant-based diet. Vegetarianism, which started off in India and ancient Greece as a religious and philosophical way of life based on nonviolence towards animals, has already gained the attention of and is being followed by 7.3 million Americans. What is it exactly? How powerful are its effects on the human body that many are convinced of following it?

Characteristics of a Vegetarian Diet
It does not include meat, fish or poultry. Those that follow this diet generally do not consume animal-based foods. However, there are variations which offer exemptions. This is because intelligent vegetarians realize that, although most nutrients can be derived and found in plant-based foods, there are some which could only be derived from animal-based foods which are also necessary for the proper functioning of the human body. Although some prefer food supplementation, the issue regarding bio-availability greatly stirs the favor towards consumption of animal-based foods (to some extent and amount) than merely supplementing the inadequacy with pills.
