Vampyre's Pyre

Vampyres Pyre was a work long in the making. For as long as I could remember I had a fascination with these fictional beings. They always brought thoughts of cobblestone streets at night, lit by gaslight. The sound of hoof beats growing louder. In my mind I saw them also rampant and wild in forests, reclusive, seductive. I had never really considered them something to be feared. Well, not until There is more to their lore than meets the eye. They are continually elusive, one might say. But thats when the question becomes clear. ...Are they possibly near?
