Unveiling Lady Ardith

It is England of 1067.

The Normans have conquered the Saxons.

After a lifetime of having lived as a Saxon lord, Saxon Lady Ardith returns to Breton Keep and, as the firstborn daughter of the late lord, claims Lord Ranulf’s hand in marriage, but Sir Guy, her Norman stepbrother, asserts a prior claim for her hand even as a shadow from the past threatens to destroy Lady Ardith as it once destroyed Lord Aldwyn, her twin brother. Lady Ardith weds Lord Ranulf, but, when a Saxon prisoner accuses Lord Aldwyn of having broken his oath of fealty to Lord Ranulf, Lord Aldwyn returns to defend his honor.

Before either Lord Aldwyn or Lady Ardith can claim Lord Ranulf, Lord Ranulf falls into the hands of the assassin, for he, not Lady Ardith, is the true target. Who will save Lord Ranulf—the mysterious and powerful Lord Aldwyn who would have to risk his head, or the delicate and vulnerable Lady Ardith who would have to risk the life of her unborn child?
