Partway into their third year in the Delta Quadrant, the crew of this starship Voyager made a different decision to that of the original Voyager crew. In this alternate reality, the people of the Voyager remained lost, experiencing entirely new adventures and making contact with previously unknown alien species. In their long absence from Earth, several of the crew members had children. This short story, Unthinkable, concerns two of these children.
