Cora Johnston flees an abusive ex-husband with the help and companionship of her beloved twin sister Fiona. Months later an accident has left Fiona seriously injured. To recuperate she has to move to a private facility, leaving Cora on her own. To protect Cora the sisters agree that as a precaution if she needs to go anywhere, she will pretend to be Fiona. Since no one is aware that Fiona has a sister, far less a twin, what could go wrong?
