The two  women planned to cycle 300 miles across Tierra del Fuego, from Porvenir, in the north, to Ushuaia, in the south. But as the gusts slammed them sideways, even the even the three mile ride from the ferry landing to Porvenir seemed doubtful. This book is Réanne’s gritty account of their adventure: two middle-aged women pedaling—and sometimes pushing—heavily laden bicycles into wind, rain and hail, on appalling roads, across one of the most remote and beautiful regions on the planet.
