The purpose of this story is to inspire those who think that they are the only one going through something and no one understands what they have been through or are going through. To let them know that they are not alone in this struggle. This thing called life. At some point, life is what you make it. You can go around in a pool of self-pity all your life, or you can free yourself from your own prison called your past and make your future bright. First you have to open your eyes so you can see. Life is full of chaotic events. Do not be a slave to the negative situations in your past. Face your past head-on, and leave it behind you. You may never forget your past, although do not allow it to control your future endeavors. I am a firm believer in the saying that everything happens for a reason, and in every situation there is a lesson to be learned. You have to go through something to learn something. I honestly don’t think I would know what I know now if I had not been through all the past events in my life, and I know that every day, no matter what, there is a lesson to be learned. Take one day at a time and live life to the fullest. Ride it till the wheels fall off!
