Dlaine was hurt and Dying when Alannah found him, she took him to a healer. She didn't know who this richly dressed handsome stranger was but she touched him and some how she could feel his pain it was tangible just like his fear, she had an overwhelming need to help him, protect him and save him. They discovered they had something that only the Mystic's knew about, they shared the Touch. Was the shock of touching one another’s skin worth the paralysing sensation they felt?

Dhakanon had tried to keep them apart, but Fate lent a helping hand and pushed the two of them together. Many people had tried to force them apart and just as many had pushed them together, but that thing that happens when they touch made their minds up for them.

Now Dlaine and Alannah with the help of Ethan, Klen, Jaymes and Neglan are fighting for their lives and for the lives of their children, families and friends.

Along the way they will have to try, if possible, avoid rogue magician's and mystics but in simple terms they have to save civilisation as they know it.

Will they succeed or will fate deal them bad dice, is their a traitor with in their midst, does the world really care that if they loose life as they know it will cease to exist, is the fight worth the ultimate sacrifice.

Thus a whole new adventure begins.
