Around the turn of the millennium, Toni Fortune arranges for two friends, Ben and Wesley, to kidnap a girl, Krystal Mayes, on whom he seeks revenge. The object is to scare her as well as to raise money to assist in his courtship of his new love, Tina.
Unknowingly, his friends grab the wrong girl causing unforeseen complications.
Krystal arrives home after the ransom has been received. Realising that Christina Bergman has been taken in mistake for Krystal, the two fathers can see no alternative to working together. Bergman collects the money whilst Mayes continues to talk to the kidnappers.
