Time of Blessing

A new home and an opened door to a promising career-life was finally beginning for Raphaela Edwards. This was a time she had prayed for, waited for, and desperately needed. After taking major steps to initiate the life she thought she'd lost sight of one would believe all would naturally fall into place and life would finally be good. The good does come with unexpected possibilities, but along with the good arises the unresolved issues and unhealed wounds that were thought to have been left behind. Forging this new life and wanting to hold on to the happiness from all that has come her way proves nearly impossible when rejection and abandonment from the past comes to her front door. This was not how Raphaela envisioned a time of blessing to be. How is it possible to experience blessings and still feel like you are drowning?
