Before he became Elaeus, the Protector of the Star Goddess and mentor to Jane, Khalan and Khaius, he had been the Stranger, the Universe's greatest and most feared Vampire Hunter. This is the legend of the Stranger, Time's Exile, told via the twenty-two cards of the Major Arcana of the Tarot, beginning with The Fool and ending with The World. Also included is the bonus short story: Halok, or The Stranger Defeated, where the Stranger suffers his first defeat by the hands of the Vampire Elder, Halok.
