Thrud

Thrud, daughter of Thor, one day meets a friendly dwarf named Alvis and falls in love with him. Unfortunately, her father does not approve of her relationship and challenges Alvis to a challenge of wits which ends up turning him into stone because dwarves cannot tolerate sunlight and the challenge lasted all night. Upset, Thrud dedicates her life to becoming a valkyrie and serves Freya and her grandfather Odin and goes on many adventures as a result. This is a retelling of Norse Mythology through an obscure character's perspective that one would surely love.
