P.I. Jackson Douglas is inundated with women. While pondering the murder of a man named Douglas Jackson, he encounters Ryan, Stephanie, and Marissa—along with all their troubles. First Ryan finds Jackson by mistake, thinking he’s Douglas Jackson, unware of the murder, and unable—or unwilling—to provide any answers about her past. The next day, Jackson rescues Stephanie from her abusive husband and brings her home with him.
