My N.D.E. occurred on a summers day in 1957, while traveling on my way home in the family vehicle. I was a six years old and thinking I was helping, I tried to lock the car door. Fate stepped in and instead of locking the door I openend it. In seconds I fell out of the speeding car and out onto the roadway. While unconscious, and close to death, I would experience something, that until this day can't be explained. For years, the family never talked of the horrific event, so I grew up with my own memories of that fateful day, never realizing that my understanding of what occurred was vastly different from the actual account. Before my parents died, I was able to finally discuss what happened and learn the haunting truth. Now in my sixties, for the first time, I am sharing my story, in hopes that it will give comfort to those who fear death and to those who have lost a loved one.
