One day the Marquis of Coat-Squiriou was returning home and he saw a little boy who was four or five years old. He picked the child up and asked what he was doing there. The little kid answered all questions that he didn't know. The Marquis adopted the boy and called him "N’Oun Doare" (in English "I don't know"). The boy became a tall, handsome youth. One day the Marquis took him to the town to search a suitable weapon. They saw many swords of all qualities in armourers' shops, but N’Oun Doare didn’t want to buy any of them, but at last they passed the booth of a seller of scrap-metal. At that place, he saw a sword that fit him. "It is not a fit weapon for a gentleman." said the Marquis. But finally he bought this sword to his son. Read it till the end to find out what happened next...
