This book is the continuation of the story of Bradley and Megan, the twins, about their adventures in the World of the Unknowns. In the previous book, “The World of the Unknowns: The Discovery”, Bradley and Megan, and their friend and neighbor John, visit the World of the Unknowns, where they find out that children have amazing capabilities. John becomes a believer in their system, learns how to fly and no longer wants to go back home. Bradley and Megan realize that accepting the rules of the Unknowns would preclude them from returning home and fight hard to preserve their right of free choice. This book, “The World of the Unknowns: The Rescue”, tells the story of Bradley and Megan’s return home, where they find out that they have not been missed by their parents or teachers. What is worse, they have somehow acquired a rotten reputation both at home and at school. While trying to regain the trust of the grown-ups, Bradley and Megan figure out who has acted on their part while they’ve been gone and begin to design plans to go back to the World of the Unknowns to rescue their friend John and the other prisoners of the Unknowns. In this book, you will learn more about the Unknowns and follow Bradley and Megan on their important mission.
Theme music: “Walking in the air” performed by Celtic Woman, from the famous children’s book and animation “The Snowman”.
