“Shhhh… family meeting tonight at 6pm. I already told everybody else. Not another word until then. Right now, we sleep.” He kissed her lips gently, and held her tightly. The thought that another man had put their hands on HIS wife, done things to her that she didn't want done to her, made his stomach clench up and made him want to throw up. He was so angry that he wanted to scream. He had killed that sheriff in such a rage, he regretted it now. He should have made it last longer. He should have made him suffer, like he made his wife suffer.

Nobody slept really well that day. There were 2 couches in the living room, so Terick was right across from Bella’s parents, and when he did get up once to use the restroom, Herbie was watching when he came back, timing how long he was gone. He pretended not to see, and crawled back under the sheet and thought to himself, ‘I can’t wait till Bella and I can be alone, in our own home.’ He had enough money saved up, and if she could move in with him… or better yet, they get married, and he move in here, things would be better. When everything came out, things would change anyways. Bella and him decided to tell EVERYTHING.
