Lauren Miller a successful woman executive with an Ivy League background employed by THE LANDERY Architecture firm has been following in her mother’s Margaret footsteps since college. Lauren dedication to her mother has allowed her to keep her family secret which will soon be exposed by Margaret’s past. Lauren wasn’t anticipating a relationship or for that matter romance was last on her agenda. Until Matthew White a rival with Langston architecture firm decided to discuss merging the power companies. The rocky meeting blossomed into a marriage proposal. However, Lauren’s joy quickly fade when meeting Ann White her future mother-in-law who crushes her fairy tale with built up anger toward her former friend Margaret Miller which ultimately exposes, “The Millers” secret. Lauren has to tackle her emotions, work and reconnecting with Duke Wilkinson an old friend who has his own agenda to win Lauren heart no matter the cost.
