The Whisperers 2 The Doomsday Bell is the second book in the Whisperers adventure trilogy. Under the tutelage of the Puppet Master, Sean Grimshaw has now assumed the role of Venerable Lord, Master of the Venerable Whisperers and Reapers. When Sally, his girlfriend and fellow Reaper, leaves to join forces with his enemies the Malevolence, Sean travels to the United States to find her and bring her back home. He soon realises that his efforts to save Sally are nothing compared to the greater danger faced by mankind - the end of the world.
