Every nation in the world has its own folklore heritage — legends, myths, fairy-tales. In such stories the wisdom of every nation is collected and embodied, although some of the nations have similar tales, especially those who are neighbors. Legend and myths employ elements of supernatural origin: magic, gods, wonderful creatures. Tales are stories that are supposed to teach the coming generations by depicting various situations and various types of behavior demonstrated by the heroes. “The Waits of Bremen” is a story a bit resembling the world's famous fairytale but it has an another plot. The story covers four main characters which are united by one problem. After a faithful hard-working for great many years all of them grew old and their masters had a decision to put an and for them. Met together they left their homes and went for a journey to Bremen to turn musicians.
