In the medieval kingdom of Arigog, everyone has a Vase that tells their life story. Through the foretold paintings made on the sculpted pottery, the people live out their lives to the letter. From the time they are born, their Vase tells them what they will do, what their future husbands or wives will look like, and how they will die. Through this custom, all has been peaceful in the land.
But, when Amelia, the princess, discovers her foretold future, she takes matters into her own hands and breaks her Vase, which is punishable by death. As a result, she has to run away and her life changes forever.
