Children with Autism are born with it. They see the world in a different way than most other kids do and so they go through life in another way than what is generally considered normal.
No two children who have autism show the same signs and symptoms. Each autistic child is one of a kind. They do not act alike, behave in the same way or have the same skills.
Kids with autism have a hard time talking with other people. Some need the help of other people to talk while some kids never learn to talk.
Autistic children show emotion in strange ways. Some flutter their arms when they're happy, others hurt themselves when they're not, there are some who may say the same words or sentences over and over again if they're afraid or nervous while there are other kids who don't like to be touched so they scream and screech to show they're angry.
Children with autism need help to understand sights, smells and sounds, they need help to talk, they need help to go to school, and they need help to do everyday stuff. Some kids with mild autism just need a little help and they get better in time, other kids have more severe autism and will need help all throughout their life. Nevertheless, they just need help so they can live in the world in a good way.
Parents need to know how to give the right kind of help in bringing up the autistic child so that he can develop and progress and make the best out of his life.
