Even if you understand the biology, the chemistry, and the psychology of love, does that make your love life any easier?  A college course called “Love Among Human Beings” is the center of the story involving several couple both in college and after.  Screenwriting grad student Jake reconnects with an old love from high school, Maggie, the younger sister Assistant Professor Dr. Amanda Vega who teaches “The Love” course.

The Thing About Love is a multi couple story line.  Like the semester project for “The Love Course” requires each student to team with another class member and answer a hundred and fifty probing questions to explore what love means to each person individually.  For example there’s Nelson and Cassie, two competing campus students organizations politicians, who dislike each other enough for it to turn to love.  And then there’s Lilli and Greg, he loves her but there’s someone else in her life.  These are the complications of love and of this story.
