The Tharn Adventures: The Warrior of the Dawn and The Return of Tharn

Set in a mythical age before the dawn of recorded history, THE THARN ADVENTURES comprises two novels which follow the adventures of Tharn, a Cro-Magnon man who must battle his way through a world filled with hostile neanderthals, fierce beasts, and dangerous cities beholden to evil gods.

Howard Carleton Browne (1908-1999) was an American writer and editor.  A prolific contributor during the pulp era of the 1940s and 1950s, Browne wrote fantasy, science fiction, and adventures, occasionally under pseudonyms like Ivar Jorgensen and Alexander Blade.  He edited AMAZING STORIES and FANTASTIC ADVENTURES magazines in the 1950s.
