Facebook is a collective thought form, generated by its users. Our collective thoughts, (“Posts”, “Likes”, “Comments” and “Shares” ), create a reality that is outside of us and larger than us.

Generally in the West we understand Tao's translation as "The Way". In fact the translation of Tao is much deeper, as explained in the book; "The Tao" is an infinitely large network which influences all thoughts. As such Joe decided to use Taoism in the title to suggest that a new definition beyond the traditional Western is being explored.

The Facebook universe is creating a comprehensive intelligence for your use, find out how in "The Taoism of facebook".

The Italian American community of Federal Hill was Joe's home during his early years. It was there that Joe began his appreciation for extended family, religious values, and good food.

It was during those formative years that Joe also got to experience the close knit community that populated Federal Hill. It wasn't unusual to know your neighbors and storekeepers and expect welcoming grins when venturing outside. It wasn't unusual for neighbors to call themselves, "Pisans", something similar to cousin.
That sense of belonging was a precursor to the Social Media we live with in facebook.

Joe is married, lives in Rhode Island, and has three daughters and two grandsons.
Joe's first book, "Mafia Messiah" is a fun read that opens memory passages of the mind, making each readers experience unique, as they learn a new perspective on the Mafia.
