The year is 2016 and a young woman finds herself in between the dark depths of the Taliban prison and the raging war fought on Australia’s soil by the Taliban. Inside the heart of the Taliban prison she is determined to find and rescue her husband, a police officer held in captivity in a prison notorious for torture. This story follows Shafira’s journey as she seeks to rescue her husband.
