The Overlap between the Mind and Spirituality*: An Examination into Human Consciousness (or what we usually term God):

Who and what is God? A delve into “another dimension” , beyond the mind, BEYOND THE ZONE

I’ve thought a lot about the nature of God, the Ultimate Source over the years. As I explore my “own spirituality”, I’ll jot down some thoughts (“torts” ), as I try to work things out for myself (and “put it into words”) and what gives MEANING to life. However, it’s up to each one of us to find our own truths.

We’ll look at concepts like the power of choice, freedom, meaning, will (whether free or not), etc in our lives. What is spirit... or is it Spirit? What is FAITH and how does this work.

Don't worry, this is not going to be a "heavy, heavy" book. Rather I'm writing it purely for myself, to clarify my own thoughts on the spiritual journey, as I try to make sense of my own "little life" and the journey taken to this point . "Crazy", as it is!

Footprints in the Sand

One night I dreamed I was walking along the beach with the Lord. Many scenes from my life flashed across the sky.
In each scene I noticed footprints in the sand. Sometimes there were two sets of footprints, other times there was one only.
This bothered me because I noticed that during the low periods of my life, when I was suffering from anguish, sorrow or defeat, I could see only one set of footprints, so I said to the Lord,
“You promised me Lord,
that if I followed you, you would walk with me always. But I have noticed that during the most trying periods of my life there has only been one set of footprints in the sand. Why, when I needed you most, have you not been there for me?”
The Lord replied, “The years when you have seen only one set of footprints, my child, is when I carried you.”

Everyone on the planet has some Everest (or perhaps many) to climb. For me NOW, it's writing and publishing my various thoughts and writing about the /my spiritual path in the form of these ebooks.

But for YOU that "Everest" may the worthiest pursuit of bringing up a "problem" child and LOVING to the very best of one's ability... and then putting everything into that most noble endeavour of all.

Whatever it may be, just take that first step...then keep walking. Just know that God, Infinite /Ultimate Source is WITH you.
