West, Bradford, Hoyt and Salinas have returned home after graduating from their basic training camp into God’s Army with instructions to expect the assistance of an assigned mentor to guide them through their advanced training. Faced with the familiarity of home, each one struggles against the challenge to live as a new creation in Christ.

West conquers her resistance against feelings and emotions as she sets out on a global excursion to solidify her call to travel the world and help strengthen the saints. As an employee in the Illinois Department of Corrections, Bradford fights to serve the Lord behind bars. Hoyt faces the real world challenge of adulthood as he finds his place in the work force while still learning how to serve his king. Salinas cannot squelch the call back to his homeland but wonders how his family is going to cooperate. Each of these soldiers lean into the Lord and strengthen their gifts as they discover their purpose for His kingdom.

After weathering the storms of their advanced training, these soldiers must now serve out that purpose and become veterans that leave a legacy.
