Ridiculed and made fun of by her peers in High School for being different and victim of a harsh and abusive home life, Alyssa Caine doesn't seem that different from many other unfortunate teenagers. She gets by and somehow keeps going with the help of the imaginary friends she's never grown out of. Chewed out by her teacher and embarassed by an encounter with the new rather cute boy at school, you would think things couldn't get much worse...until she gets home. It's then that she begins to wonder what really is imaginary...
