The Place without Eyes

Assigned to the farthest colonized planet on the map, Ryuu is certain she can handle training recruits for six months, especially after the grueling war. But murder and conspiracy await her and her new partner is pointing out that the trail leads somewhere beyond the mundane. And if Ryuu isn't careful, she'll go from hero to traitor.
Traitor. Bakar knows that's all he'll ever be. That's why he's still a prisoner of war. Once the one who swayed the tides of war, he’s fortunate to get an offer by his people to once more protect them from the notorious Imperium and the deadly weapon they are developing on a distant colony. Sent there as a prisoner working off his sentence, he finds murder and a particular spearman–woman–are complicating his mission.
And the colony is in chaos, so if Ryuu and Bakar want to come out unscathed, they'd better give their missions everything. If not, scathed will be an understatement.
