Jenny Fremont, divorced and disenchanted, has sworn off blind dates. So has widower Chase Castile, who simply wants to be left alone, period, so he can mourn his wife in peace. But their mutual friend Betsy Jernigan has other ideas. Too bad she's such a terrible matchmaker and continues to fix each of them up with the world's most unsuitable blind dates. In a panic after his most recent fiasco of a blind date tries to tickle his privates with her bare feet in a fancy restaurant, Chase formulates The Perfect Plan. He and his good friend Jenny will pretend to be a couple. The obnoxious blind dates will cease for both of them, and Chase can recede back into his gloomy, solitary world. At least, that's the plan. Chase's plan works...kind of... The blind dates do cease, but the rest of The Plan gets lost in the mounting attraction overtaking them. Sometime during the façade of pretending to be a couple, the game becomes real. But these two have hurdles aplenty to overcome. Secrets are revealed. Chase’s oh-so-orderly life explodes in sudden chaos. And Jenny must learn that love is not a defined quantity—it is infinite and forever if she will simply shut up and allow it to happen
