The Path to Winter's Bite is a prequel to my novel, Winter's Bite (release date 6/10/2016). It is not intended as a standalone novel but helps to set the scene for the novel. It is made up of 8 chapters of ancient history that describe the creation of the world of Tesevia, as well as the gods, the birth of magic, and some of the fallout that led to things being the way they are.
The ancient history is followed by 23 chapters that take place beginning about 17 years before Winter's Bite. They do follow a story arc, but as it is so much material that is not part of the primary story line of Winter's Bite, I decided to give it its own prequel.
