In 1692, Captain Smorgan and his crew of party-hardy pirates bury a priceless treasure in the bottom of a cave on a hillside just outside of Port Royal, Jamaica. When their work is finished, the lot of them head back to the beach for one of the Captain's famous feasts. An earthquake hits thus triggering a tsunami that swallows the Captain and his boisterous crew. The only survivors are a parrot and the bottle of rum on which is scribbled Captain Smorgan's treasure map. The story travels to modern day times where a rastaman named Delroy and his pet goat Lassie find themselves walking in the hillsides of Port Royal through the wind and the lash of the hurricane's rain. At the end of the storm Lassie discovers Captain Smorgan's 300-year-old treasure-map bottle and relays it to Delroy. Also during the storm a ship transporting animals for a circus crashes onto the beach of Port Royal where all the animals escape inland. Venus-fly Trap plants in the surrounding foliage have enormously blossomed into gigantic creatures. To top off the madness, a group of heavily-armed thugs takes full advantage of the chaos created by the hurricane. When Delroy makes his way back to the beach resort where he works as a dishwasher, one of the resident guests notices the bottle as being very unique. A group of resort guests gather round. The map of Captain Smorgan's treasure is discovered etched on the side of Delroy's 300-year-old rum bottle. Next, crazy antics begin as these ruthless guests along with some determined local characters alike compete to discover and capture The Infamous Lost Treasure of Captain Smorgan!
