This book is not really part of the Daisy Weal series, but it does take place in, what can only be described as, the Daisy Weal universe.
Two hundred years had passed, and the flagship of the Star Fleet, HMSS ‘The Daisy Weal’ was heading towards Cren to deliver an archaeological and survey team.
An accident happened. A beam of energy from an unknown source penetrated the ship killing all passengers and crew instantly.
The ship took evasive action and escaping on emergency thrust it inadvertently twisted space and performed an unintended, and previously impossible, hyper jump.
Completely lost, he finds that his bio processor has been programmed with an overpowering urge to find a way home
This is the story of that journey home and of the many civilisations that he encounters, of the changes that are made to him, of the friends that he meets, and of the life that it is given.
