The Lost Bear is a series of children's books which educate and entertain children aged four and above about different travel destinations.

In the first book, 'The Lost Bear in London', the bear gets lost and consequently learns about life in the big city of London. The Lost Bear explores the River Thames, famous buildings such as Big Ben and the Tower of London, British food, the British flag, the snowy weather, the nature and culture of England.

The Lost Bear consists of a series of books to cover the lost Bears adventures and exploration of different cities across the world, including Paris, Amsterdam, Edinburgh, and Rome. These books will help young children to prepare for their visits to new places, whether for holidays or family relocation, and learn about different cultures.

These books would appeal to children as they evoke an exciting adventure, based around exploration, which can be portrayed using songs and rhythm. The books also introduce different healthy foods to children as well as showing them how to express their emotions and ways to tackle their fears. They would also become aware of different languages, customs, cultural expressions and lifestyles in each country they read about and visit.

This series of books also enables children to be familiar with the 24-hour clock, reading timetables, methods of transport (bus, train, aeroplane, tram and taxi) and how to buy things using different types of money (i.e. using different currencies). Until The Lost Bear finds his way back to KiSo Land.
