On an ordinary day three young women arrive at their respective homes to find an unexpected envelope. The envelopes are unmarked and bear no sign of being delivered through the postal service. Casually, the girls open their envelopes to discover hand written letters. The letters tell each girl that their lives are incomplete and unsatisfying. The writer refers to himself as Felix.
Felix states that their lives are venturing down a false destiny and unless they admit to their faults they will continue to fall into a downhill spiral. He then urges each girl to write back to begin a life changing process.
Alison Cooper cannot gather the words to form an appropriate response and it is not until a tragic event involving her cousin, Rebecca Cooper, that a responding letter is produced.
Krystal Summers suspects her current boyfriend, Jake Conboy, of planting the letter as a humorous gesture until, with the assistance of Felix, a hidden lie is revealed causing her perfect life to unravel into the unjustifiable truth that has been blindly torturing her.
Sarah McAllister already views her life as broken and unable to be mended and sees no reason to respond to Felix’s letter. Her life suddenly changes and she is left with no choice but to follow Felix’s requests.
Felix only makes two initial requests from each woman; instructions are to be followed precisely as Felix has prescribed and contact can only be made through hand written letters.
Through a series of life changing lessons all three girls begin to see a brighter future of independence, truthfulness, and peace.
As the end of their journey nears, the girls propose a meeting to physically thank their saviour. However, their search leads them on an excursion revealing the biggest hidden truth of them all; who is Felix?
