Gavin and Dene are in their early teens and have never met but it seems as if only through close misses. Initially unbeknown to them, it becomes apparent that they share some common friends and infrastructure. This is a fact that would only be learnt after later in life becoming friends independently of any of this common ground.

Certainly to an outside observer they appear different to the point that one would not expect them to become friends, but oddly enough, just like the strangely intertwined past they shared they do. Once friends it becomes clear that the friendship is one that should last a lifetime.

The story follows Gavin, Dene and their friendship. Through meeting, fun times, growing apart, back again and the unexpected end.
