WHAT IS UTOPIA ?

A GREEK WORD MEANING A PLACE THAT IS NOT.

What happens when two individuals from disparate backgrounds accidentally come together because of a thin book written by an unknown author that contains a never-before-seen and never-before- heard-of, detailed blueprint for government properly conceived?

What results from this chance encounter eventually is a gleaming, pollution-free metropolis that features, among other things, a for-profit form of government based on an immutable philosophical truth that the sovereignty of the individual is total. This metropolis, located in the high desert of California -- and home to more than two million inhabitants -- is owned by one man and a wealthy, international Japanese consortium headed up by a tragic and driven man of Japanese-American origin.

Trouble is on the horizon for this utopia, which is nothing less than humanity's last chance to survive the ravages of thousands of years of so-called governments most ill-conceived; the most recent of which ended in the total financial and political collapse of the most powerful nation on earth; and with it the rest of the world. A 20-year interregnum that followed the collapse and Balkanization of the most powerful nation on earth is struggling to come to an end in what is now just a loose federation of republics run by power- and money-hungry thugs of the most egregious sort.

Conflict is inevitable between the old and stale forces of statist ideas of human organization and the budding New World Order, the cornerstones of which are voluntarism and the sanctity of the, till now, lowly individual.

Fortunately, the builders of this utopia know another immutable truth, which will aid them in their struggle to build freedom while ridding humanity of the evil of the political state once and for all:

The territory belongs to he, she, or they that can defend it.
