The book describes the abuse and the assaults by alcoholic men, and those who were sadistic that showed no mercy to the women who were trapped by their own emotional and fearful need. It takes the reader into scenarios of unsuspecting men who were so traumatized by their disorders that unthinkable suicide was thought to be there only release from this terror of a near death experience.
