The Jaguar Princess is a single poem using rich imagery that brings the reader into a fantasy world of animals as people. It speaks to love, longing, happiness, and the necessity of going after what has been promised. We meet the Jaguar Princess in the throne room inquiring about her Prince and his whereabouts, and journey with her through sadness and frustration to triumphant reunion.

The Jaguar Princess is written in iambic heptameter. In this digital edition, each fourteen syllable line has been given its own page. Rather than allow each line to 'word-wrap' according to the settings (and viewing size restrictions) of your digital device, each line has been 'split' at a point that matches as closely as possible the visual aesthetic and pacing I was trying to acheive. Each four-line-stanza is further differentiated by assignment as its own seperate sub-chapter.
