The Issue of Bullying

Bullying is a major problem in the United States today. Some people experience bullying to the point that they lose control and harm or kill others. Some individuals who are bullied may attempt or commit suicide because of the bullying. Bullying occurs at schools, in neighborhoods, and at other places. Bullying needs to be addressed better at schools, in neighborhoods, and in other areas. Addressing bullying is going to take cooperation among different people, including school administrators, teachers, and school resource officers. If bullying were addressed better, a drop in violence in schools most likely would occur. Studies have been conducted among high secondary school students to gain a better understanding of the number of students who are experiencing bullying and what the effects of bullying are. This book discusses bullying well. This paper provides insight about studies on bullying. The information about bullying can provide important information for school administrators, teachers, and school research officers. A major objective of this book is to present a better understanding of bullying and how bullying affects students.
