The Holy Spirit

A lot has been said about the Holy Spirit since the beginning of the history of the church. Some say He is the third person in the Trinity, who is co-equal and co-eternal with the Godhead. Others claim the Holy Spirit is one of the manifestations, titles, attributes or functions of God rather than a distinct person. A few others assert He is the active power of God that enables him to do things.

Due to the way some Bible passages present the Holy Spirit, a lot of people seem to be confused about His true nature. Some ask whether the Holy Spirit is a living being or mere force.
