Suitable for housewives who love to get lost in stories of heart versus reality, yet don’t give up on their heroine getting what their heart, body and soul so desperately desire.

Contains sex scenes, drugs, violence, acts of self-harm and ritualistic ceremonies.
Set in the 70’s and 80’s we follow the life of Angelica and her cousins Demelza and Perdita. How they take on battles with issues of self-image, depression, loss and grief.
Do you believe in ‘Happy Ever After’?
Everyone understands that the heart wants what the heart wants. But sometimes you have to be prepared to make the best of what fate tosses your way. The heart can't always get what it wants. Or can it? When you love enough to sacrifice the desires of your own heart. That's real love. When you deny love for fear of rejection. Is it pride or plain old stupidity?
Three young women have choices to make. They don't always get it right.
Angelica is sold by her mother’s boyfriend to a man who could be a paedophile or a dealer in body parts for all she knew.
Angelica learns early in life to hide her feelings, and hide them deep. She is willing to sacrifice her dancing future, and more, to free the ones she loves. The Elders have a saying “The heart wants, what the heart wants” But Angelica is under no such illusion and is prepared to ‘bind’ herself, giving up her mind, body, heart and soul to a stranger if she has to, just so others are free to follow what their hearts truly want.
Demelza hates her body. Always sticking up for the under-dog. Hates bullies. She is barely 5 foot tall, but will stand her ground and go toe to toe with the devil him-self if she has to. Sometimes it seems that she’s too proud for her own good. But she won’t be a victim or be dragged down by anyone. That also includes the man she loves.
Feeling like her heart has been ripped out Perdita sinks into a pit of depression that seems impossible to climb out of. The pressure is on to have her hospitalized, but her family won’t give up on her. Perdita finds out the hard way that it’s true what the old wives say. ‘The road to true love never runs smooth’
Angelica and Demelza are abducted by the same man who once sold Angelica. Worse still. Angelica has been snatched only to be given yet again to that same man. And in the middle of all of this, there is a murder.
The public see only the flawless perfection of talented young women who sing and dance all around the U.K. But behind that façade, a war of hearts is taking place.

When you think you can’t have what your heart wants, should you settle for what you can get? Or fight to get what you want?
