Kae Taylor fears getting involved with another man after the death of her abusive husband. She develops a unique form of motivational speaking to educate women on the ability to take control of the word no and how to stop being victims of their husbands or boyfriends.

So when she meets Roark O'Neil, she sees his size and gruff attitude, immediately rates him a negative. Nothing good can come from him. Instead of falling into his arms, a misconception he believes is his due, she puts up some tests into play. When her living situation comes to an end, she moves in with him, the best test of all. Roark didn't that he would ever settle for one woman until he meets the sarcastic but pretty Kae. He's more than ready although he can't figure out if it's him that she is destined to marry or his twin brother, Ryker.

Raised in a highly traditional Irish family, Roark understands the Irish Matchmaker. And the meaning of the wedding ring, he'll believe. It's the part about Kae marry an O'Neil with a ruby birthstone; which has him twisted inside. He's a twin.
