This is a Slovenian fairy tale. Today children around the world love Eastern Slavonians' fairy tales because they are full of wonders and miracles, kind and brave heroes. Once upon a time was a great famine all over the world. Nowhere in the world was even a grain of corn and what people sowed was failed. For three years there wasn't any rain. During this time all reserves of corn were emptied and if anybody still had any grain, it had been sowed. They didn't obtain the love of God. When they cast the seed into the holy earth, that was the last they saw of it; if it germinated somewhat, if it sent up shoots, it withered away close to the ground. At that time there was a powerful young emperor. In his empire only young men had an authority. None of the old men had not any indulgence from a powerful emperor. Because of a lack of food the emperor made an order that all old people had to be drowned. There were then in a certain place three brothers, who had an aged father. When they heard this edict, they told their father emperor's decree and hid him. How will brothers save their father?
