‘The Giant Who Had No Heart in His Body’ is a fairy-tale that was collected and retold by George Dasent. It tells us about a king who had sevens sons. The six sons were apt and strong and the seventh was a dummy called Boots. So one day the time came for the princes to seek for their future wives and to woo. So the king gave them the finest cloths in the kingdom and off they went. But soon after that the king got to know that they all were turned into stone. The king found himself in grief but gave his permission to Boots so that he would go seeking for the way to get the brothers back.
