I was seeking God for a message to the body of Christ, and I was led by The Holy Spirit to Exodus 12:29-32, in the King James Version of the bible. Where it was talking about The Israelites exodus out of Egypt. I was then impressed that The Children of Israel were starting a journey, away from slavery, and bondage to the Egyptians. Numbers 33:1-38, describes their journeying. I was reminded of the reason that they were leaving Egypt, and that Jehovah God, had promised them a new home, called The Promise Land, a place that flowed with all good things, a land that flowed with milk and honey, a good land, in the land of The Canaanites, for an inheritance, Numbers 34:1-3. In reading these scriptures, I saw a connection between The Old Testament believers (The Children of Israel), and The New Testament believers (Christians). The New Testament believer learns from the Old Testament, It is a school master for the believer in Christ. Everything that the Children of Israel did that was good in obedience to God should be copied. All that was done in disobedience to God was to be shunned. I was asked to write a more in-depth e-book, to expound more on this subject, The Exodus/ The Journey/ The Promise Land, to show that Jehovah God is the same yesterday, today, and forever. As The Children of Israel, were to God, so are the Christian believers to Christ Jesus. We are all one in God. I pray that this book is a blessing to all that read it.
