“We cannot solve our problems with the same thinking we used when we created them.”   - Einstein

With the exponential growth of complexity we need exponential growth in learning.
If you are a business leader, change agent, coach or trainer responsible for organizational culture, workplace wellness, and performance development, and someone who has a passion for learning and self-actualization, this book offers a new way to solve our challenges.

The Executive Horse is about transformational change and leadership development through equine facilitated executive coaching, a growing field demonstrating effective methods of engaging people and creating powerful openings to  learn, absorb, change, and tackle difficult issues that get in the way of personal and organizational effectiveness.

The survival strategy of the horse is largely based on their ability to detect, from afar, the emotional state and intention of other beings in their field of view, and beyond. They need to know who goes there - friend or foe. As prey animals their viability is dependent on knowing if the predators around them are looking for lunch or have already eaten. They need to know if those who are trying to join the herd are an asset to the team. If not, they are likely to expel them as a threat. Horses form strong emotional bonds with herd mates and are prepared to accept non-equines into the herd, similar to the way dogs will accept humans as part of the pack. We can learn from horses as we reconnect to our older mammalian brain, our instincts, and our intuition.
