When artist, Laura Dunsmore, takes a job painting Christmas greetings on the windows of the local hardware store she leans a little too far off the top of a stepladder and lands on the store's new assistant manager, Gareth, who happens along and manages to catch her.
Gareth is enthralled with the pretty artist but Laura, who was dumped at the altar only a few months before, wants nothing to do with a new romance.
