Edwin Sidney Hartland (1848–1927) was a british author specialized on folklore. He is known for tales anthologies and collection, works on mythology, ethnology and anthropology. The Demon Tregeagle is folk tale collected by Edwin Hartland. The plot revolves around Tregeagle, a wild, demonic essence, trapped in our world and destined to roam it until its end.
